Our desert tour start from Marrakech by picking you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and then taking the road towards Zagora. Passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), with long-distance views over the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages, we do a short visit in the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop somewhere for lunch in a local restaurant along the way, After lunch, drive through Ouarzazate and the Anti-Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, the largest palm plantation in Morocco. Arrive in Zagora for a camel trek, enjoy a desert sunset, and spend the night at a Sahara camp with Moroccan dinner and live drumming under the stars.  

Day 2Zagora - Sidi Ali - Merzouga Desert

We leave Zagora and head towards the Draa Valley, known for its lush palm groves. We visit Sidi Ali and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings before stopping for a lunch. Afterward, we continue our trip to Merzouga along the famous Paris-Dakar rally route. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will prepare for a camel trek to enjoy the stunning sunset over the sand dunes. Afterward, we continue to the camp for an overnight stay in either a luxury or traditional nomad tent, or at a hotel/riad. Day 3Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Alnif - Tinghir

Afterward, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and shower at the camp. You can either ride the camels again or take a 4×4 transfer back to the starting point, where you’ll meet your driver.

Our journey from Merzouga to Tinghir takes us through stunning landscapes and fascinating sites. We start by leaving the Erg Chebbi dunes and head to Rissani, known for its vibrant market and historical sites. We then continue to Alnif, famous for its fossils, where we can explore kasbahs, palm groves, and Berber villages. Finally, we arrive in Tinghir, where we will spend the night at a hotel or riad.

Day 4Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Boumalne Dades - Dades Gorges -Kelaat M'Gouna - Rose Valley - Skoura - Kasbah Amridil - Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will head west for a short drive to discover the charm of Todgha Gorges, known for its towering 300-meter cliffs and narrow passageways. Carved by the Todra River, the gorges offer stunning natural beauty and are popular for hiking, rock climbing, and photography. The area is also home to local Berber communities, adding cultural charm to this breathtaking landscape.

Next, we’ll head to Boumalne Dades for dramatic views and the famous Dades Gorges. Afterward, we will stop at Kelaat M’Gouna to visit the Rose Valley and explore the local rose products. We’ll then continue our journey to Skoura, where we’ll visit the impressive Kasbah Amridil. Finally, we will arrive in Ouarzazate and check into our hotel or riad for the night.
