The tour starting from Marrakech to the Zagora Desert, passing through the stunning High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Then we visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue along the scenic Draa Valley to Zagora. Enjoy a camel trek into the Sahara dunes, with magical sunset and sunrise views. Spend the night in a luxury or traditional desert camp, where you can enjoy Berber music and dance under the stars before returning to Marrakech the next day.
The 3 days desert tour from Marrakech begins by picking you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and then taking the road towards Zadora. Passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), with long-distance views over the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages, we do a short visit in the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop somewhere for lunch in a local restaurant along the way,
After lunch, drive through Ouarzazate and the Anti-Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, the largest palm plantation in Morocco. Arrive in Zagora for a camel trek, enjoy a desert sunset, and spend the night at a Sahara camp with Moroccan dinner and live drumming under the stars.
After an early wake-up to witness the magical sunrise, followed by a warm Moroccan breakfast, we depart for Boumalne Dades through the lush Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves and Berber villages. We stop to take pictures and continue our journey, passing through the village of Tafetchna. We then arrive at Nkob Village, where we stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we explore Nkob, a traditional Berber village at the base of the Saghro Mountains.
Next, we cross through the rugged Saghro Mountains, with dramatic rock formations and views of remote Berber villages. Finally, we arrive in Boumalne Dades and spend the night at a hotel or riad.
After an early breakfast in Boumalne Dades, we start our scenic drive through the Dades Valley, with a brief stop at the Dades Valley, famous for its Kasbahs and palm groves, and visit Dades Gorge for incredible views of the winding cliffs. We then continue through the Rose Valley and High Atlas Mountains, enjoying breathtaking views of the rugged landscapes and remote villages. After a delicious lunch in a traditional village, we pass the Tizi N’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech by evening. We will drop you off at your hotel or riad, marking the end of your 3 days Morocco Desert Tour.

This 3 days desert tour starts from Marrakesh and ends at any location in Marrakesh.
The distance from Marrakech to Zagora is 360 km, and the journey takes around 7 hours by car, including several stops for panoramic views, lunch, and to take pictures of interesting sites, in order to reach the Zagora desert at the perfect time.
The 3 days tour is a private experience, limited to the travelers who book it. No additional participants will join. We focus on providing personalized, high-quality tours, which is why we primarily offer private options.
The vehicle will either be an SUV (4×4) or a minivan, both equipped with A/C.
Vehicle Details:
Car 4×4: Land Cruiser Prado (up to 4 passengers)
Minivans: Mercedes Vito Tourer or Ford Custom Van (up to 8 passengers)
For groups larger than 8, a Minibus with a capacity of up to 18 passengers can be provided.
The camel ride lasts between 30/40 minutes, depending on which camp you are staying at.
You can go directly to the camp, If you do not wish to take the camel ride.
What happens to your luggage when you go on the camel ride?
During the camel ride, you will only take what’s necessary. The rest of your luggage will be transported by the camp’s car 4×4 and will be waiting for you at the camp.
The tents are always private, but the difference is that at the standard camp, the bathroom is shared, while at the luxury camp, the tents are private and have ensuite bathrooms.
Yes, the camp is equipped with electricity generated from solar panels.
Please provide us with any dietary preferences you may have, and we will ensure that your needs are met. Kindly inform us of your preferences in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements for lunch stops and notify the hotel, riad, or camp accordingly, as dinners are included in the package.
This tour is suitable for individuals of all ages. However, please note that the tour involves approximately 5 to 7 hours of driving each day. While our vehicles are new and comfortable, and we make regular stops along the way, if you are not accustomed to this level of travel, you may wish to consider a longer tour, such as our other itinerary from Marrakech to Merzouga, to reduce the daily driving time.
The meeting point for the tour is at 8:30 a.m. at any location within Marrakech. If your riad is accessible by car, we will pick you up directly from there. If not, we will arrange to pick you up from the nearest accessible road. This can be confirmed upon booking.
At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel or riad in Marrakech, or at the nearest available parking area. The tour typically concludes between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Marrakech, though the exact duration may vary depending on the time spent at each location.
